Sheri Cohen has been researching the movement arts for over twenty years. After ten years as a student of the Feldenkrais Method, Sheri completed her Feldenkrais training in Strasbourg, France, 2000, with trainers Elizabeth Beringer and Dr. Lawrence Goldfarb. Sheri currently conducts classes, workshops, and individual sessions in Seattle, where her students are musicians, dancers, moms, meditators, runners, typists, bus riders, children, and all versions of human being. An award-winning choreographer and director of Sheri Cohen and Company, Sheri has taught dance, creative movement, hatha yoga, and the Feldenkrais Method to diverse students worldwide, including residencies at Oberlin College, Evergreen College, and Cornish College for the Arts.  Sheri approaches her work with intelligence, imagination, and open-heartedness. sheri@dksc.org

  Lila Hurwitz, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher®, has been exploring movement for over 30 years as a professional dancer and movement educator. Lila regularly teaches Feldenkrais classes and workshops in Seattle and beyond geared towards the general public as well as dancers. She has taught Feldenkrais at colleges, private studios, and dance festivals including the University of Washington Dance Department, Cornish College of the Arts, Hampshire College, Oberlin College Dance Department, Conduit Studio (Portland), Context Studio (NYC) and the Seattle Festival of Dance Improvisation.   x   Carrie Lafferty is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher. With over 20 years experience in the healing arts, Carrie maintains a one on one private practice in the University District and teaches community group Awareness Through Movement classes and workshops. Carrie is dedicated to facilitating a sense of curiosity in order to maximize a graceful healing and/or learning process with her clients. Carrie's work is deeply informed by her own personal study of tai chi, chi gong and meditation.   Becci Parsons is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher® and dancer with over 30 years experience in the movement arts. She teaches community Awareness Through Movement classes and workshops while maintaining a private practice in Seattle. Becci also facilitates study groups and mentoring programs for local practitioners. She is a part-time faculty in the Dance Department at Cornish College of the Arts and has served as guest faculty at the University of Utah Somatics and Dance Conference. Barbara Young P.T., GCFP Barbara brings to her work over 28 years of experience and knowledge in movement: physical therapy, yoga, dance and meditation.  Since moving to the Seattle area in 1983 she worked for many years as a physical therapist at the University of Washington Sports Medicine Clinic, and two private practice clinics that specialized in spine related issues.  Owning her own practice since 2001, she offers on to one sessions, weekly classes, and workshops.  Currently, she works with a wide range of individuals form infants and children to high level performers, as well as individuals with chronic and acute musculoskeletal and neurological issues.  Grounded in her acute kinesthetic understanding, she inspires her students through sensitivity, compassion and clarity. youngtower@comcast.net

  Erik LaSeur is a Guild certified Feldenkrais Teacher® with over 20 years of experience in the healing and movement arts.  He’s been a licensed massage practitioner since 1991 and completed his Feldenkrais training in 2005. Studying tai chi and Aikido since 1986 have helped shape his outlook on life and teaching.  Erik teaches weekly group in West Seattle, and sees clients on a one-to-one basis at his office near Alki Point. He focuses on sparking the curiosity of his students while keeping the atmosphere fun, so they can become more potent advocates for their own health and wellness. Erik’s spent much of his healing career working in hospital and hospice settings, and has extensive experience with helping others find a higher quality of life through greater efficiency in movement and general well-being.  As an active participant in many sports and activities he also finds joy in working with others so they may better enjoy their outdoor activities, whether it’s beach volleyball, surfing, walking, or gardening.

Bridget Thompson Is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher®. She has been a dancer all her life and some years ago started BOLD, a company for dancers over 40. She also co-founded Next Stage Dance Theatre, and has taught creative and contemporary dance as well as yoga for the past 30 years in the States, Europe and her native Africa. Her passion is in learning and healing through movement, which she currently pursues both in her Feldenkrais practice and in the study of Aikido.
Bridget was born in Kenya and grew up in Zambia and Zimbabwe. She and her husband Patrick met way too young and have traveled a long way together. They have four children and live in Seattle.

Janelle Keane Campoverde is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais teacher® and serves as part-time faculty at Evergreen State College and Antioch University. She has also taught Awareness Through Movement as a guest instructor at schools and universities throughout the United States, including Southern Methodist University Theater Department, Bastyr University and the Bush School. She has a private practice in Feldenkrais Functional Integration® working with injuries, and any condition that limits movement: for example, neurological conditions, scoliosis, and fibromyalgia. Wendelien Bolomey has been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® teacher since 1991. After her training as a physical therapist in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, she moved to Seattle and has worked in a variety of settings, hospitals and outpatient clinics, specializing in the field of arthritis, pediatric and orthopedic problems as well as with the
neurological impaired, for which she had two additional years of training in Switzerland. The experience of meeting Moshe Feldenkrais and studying his method has changed her life: An opportunity to reach further and work even more effectively with her clients through Functional Integration® and Awareness Through Movement®.
Convinced that the best healing starts with an open mind towards self-change, the focus of her treatments and teaching is to explore the origin of one’s pain or discomfort and to assist in finding better choices and alternative patterns of movement.Wendelien offers individual sessions as well as group classes. Vicki Robinson is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher®, as well as a massage therapist in practice for 24 years. As a person who’s involved in a variety of physical activities (biking, hiking, dancing, etc.), she’s committed to facilitating the process of finding optimum movement and ease in everyday life. Located in Fremont, her practice includes individual Feldenkrais® lessons as well as neuromuscular therapy massage, a specific technique used for injury rehabilitation. She teaches group Awareness Through Movement classes and workshops in the Phinney area.   Mary Morrison, is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®, currently enrolled in the MBS Academy’s Post Graduate Training with Mia Segal and Leora Gaster. She completed The Seattle East Side Feldenkrais® Training with Angel Di Benedetto and Richard Corbeil in 2006. Her background includes studies in movement, human development and the arts and spans over 30 years. While living in the UK she received a BA in Photography from The London Institute and taught Tai Chi Chuan for 10 years in the adult education system. There she had the experience of working extensively with people of all ages and abilities from every walk of life. I love the way The Feldenkrais Method® combines everything I have ever understood, and much more, about how we sense, feel, move, think, learn, create, mature, evolve, and eventually thrive.
